Thanks for continuing to use a broad definition of botany. I enjoy the photos of algae(regardless of kingdom assignment) and fungi just as much as the photos of vascular plants. I can only ask for more bryophytes.
Each day as I come to this site I am learning more and more. What a wonderful way to become more knowledgeable. The is a very nice Photograph.

Ugh, I'm sorry Daniel, but that wikipedia article seemed far from tidy. It seems as though someone was was trying to make the article longer by saying the exact same thing in as many different ways as possible. If I had a nickel for every time it mentioned "terminal receptacles" I'd have about 20 cents right now. It makes me realize how glad I am that your descriptions are much more concise and to the point.
I second the request for more bryophytes! Thanks so much for your site.
I'd like more bryophytes too - the restraints are my identification skills and the supply of identified photographs from other folks.
Maybe I'll ask the UBC bryophytes class for help next term.
