Scouler's corydalis or western corydalis is native to British Columbia, Washington and Oregon (Corydalis scouleri in Flora of North America). More images are available to view via the Burke Museum.

I wonder if it has the anodyne qualities of Corydalis yanhusuo, which is considered equivalent to morphine in Chinese medicine.
Scary plant that looks like a rattle snake!! AGGHH!! Um, I like the fairy slipper plant(Calypso Bulbosa). If you could show pictures of that flower, it would be wonderful!
