Plant Introduction Scheme of the Botanical Garden (PISBG)
Started in 1980 by former Director R. L. Taylor, the purpose of the PISBG was to enrich the local nursery industry with "new" plants, both from selections of superior garden plants and BC natives, and hybrids created at the Botanical Garden.
