Tony Maniezzo

Professional Biography

Tony Maniezzo is the Curator of North American Gardens. He is responsible for the Carolinian Forest, the Garry Oak Meadow and Woodland, and the British Columbia Native Garden. Tony received a Diploma in general studies from Kwantlen College. He also obtained a Certificate in Landscape Maintenance from BCIT and holds a Certificate of Apprenticeship / Practical Horticulture from the province of British Columbia. Through the UBC Botanical Garden, Tony has taught espalier training and pruning, beginner vegetable gardening, pruning fruit trees, pruning trees and shrubs, and groundcovers.
