Tea Ceremonies at Nitobe Memorial Garden

The Urasenke Foundation of Vancouver hosts tea ceremonies at Nitobe Memorial Garden throughout the summer. Visitors attending the ceremony can witness the formal preparation of tea and participate as guests.
Tea ceremonies take place on the last Saturday of the month throughout the summer. Dates for 2011 are listed below.

The fee for participation is $10 Canadian dollars (garden admission fee seperate). Reservations are strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment as space is limited to eight people for each ceremony. Reservations of more than 2 people must be paid in advance. Please contact Keith Synder (604.939.7749) to reserve. Socks are required.
