I purchased a maple labeled Acer Palmatum 'Kumo Moi Nishiki' and looked for information on where to plant. I found references to Kumo Moi and Kumoi Nishiki and both said it is a Sieboldianum. The few sources I found did not have anything about location other than the standard 'likes sun or part shade'.
The leaves are very light green with much white, similar to Ukigumo color but not shape, and I am concerned about possibly being burned. I have limited shade for planting.
Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? I am located just northeast of Seattle.

It is a sieboldianum, not a palmatum (but it tends to get lumped in with them as it's a Japanese maple); I just got one myself (going to stay potted for now), so I'll be playing around with sun exposure too - though Kansas sun is a wee bit stronger than what you get, lol. There is a thread on it in the gallery section, you might find info there.
