    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what is happening with our maple tree. We live in southern Ontario and the tree is approx. 20 years old. It leafed out beautifully this spring and appeared healthy and normal until about 3 weeks ago when it started to look slightly droopy. It was a normal warm summer period so we thought it was just the heat, but now the leaves have rapidly dried up and I am worried the tree is dead!

We did scatter fertilizer on the lawn recently... but have done this before with no issues so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it?

If anyone can help explain what happened or help me to save this tree I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
