British Columbia: Fruit trees for Bowen Island

    We are planning an orchard on a sunny slope on the south shore of Bowen Island. Does anyone know what fruit trees grow the best here or what trees to avoid? Thanks for your help!

    Blueberries, plums and oriental pears always do well.

    Why not try a Persimmon? They are beautiful, especially when in fruit and something a bit different is always nice.
