Does anyone know if these trees have any diseases in the Seattle area Zone 8?

You don't need the whole botanical name to know what a Davidia is. There can be problems if conditions are not right, same as any other tree. But it is not like a rose family tree (cherry, serviceberry or crab) with possible regular disease or pest occurrence. Why are you asking, what is the situation? The main issue for most people on typical urban lots is probably going to be that this species, when successful produces a large, broad crown with long, horizontal branches that cannot be cut back without spoiling the specimen.
