How to find potted Alberta Dwarf Spruce / similar Xmas tree?

Hi all! A newbie here .. please excuse if my query is out of place.

I would love to buy a potted Christmas tree like we had growing up. My patio has limited (3-6hrs) daily sunlight and the normal Vancouver temperature range (0-30 degrees Celcius). After much research & discussion I was advised a Dwarf Alberta Spruce best suits my location.

Question: Where/how can I locate a potted Dwarf Alberta Spruce to buy?
Or a similar small potted conifer suited to this environment, if anyone has other suggestions?

Ask at nearby garden centers.

 

I have asked all eight of my local garden centres. One chainstore sold out citywide and will not be reordering them. All others said they don't stock Dwarf Alberta Spruce, can't custom order a specific species, and know no other conifers that could live in my patio conditions.

So any suggestions of how to find and buy a specific tree type are welcome. Thanks kindly.

 

I don't know of a source right off, but the last post in this thread has a list of some of the local nurseries that have good selections of conifers.
