After much research I have narrowed my dwarf tree list down to one...the Sargent Tina crabapple. I've been haunting Google trying to find a supplier. Potters out here in the White Rock, BC area said they would "keep it in mind when ordering for next Spring." I came across a couple of suppliers in Washington state but wonder about getting it through the border. Does anyone know of a local (Greater Vancouver area) supplier? Or a nursery who are good at bring single items in for customers? Thanks Ken
Correctly Malus sargentii 'Tina'. There are many kinds of flowering crabapples, if you have to move Heaven and Earth to get this one maybe think about trying another instead.
Hi Ron I've spent many hours reading all I can find on crabapple trees. When I dial in the dwarf size, fragrant long lasting flowers, small colourful fruit and very good disease resistance the Malus sargentii 'tina' kept coming out a winner. My 2nd choice after the crabapple is a Korean Lilac tree. Thanks Ken
