Berry bush identification??

This berry bush has been growing in my yard and I still don't know what it is. They grow in clusters and feel rather hard. Colors range from red to a deep plum color. The small ones are sometimes yellow perhaps from not ripening. Anyway I would like to know how these would taste and if they are edible. Any suggestion of what to do with them would be helpful. Thanks!
