I have a situation with a couple 6" tall granny smith seedlings. I understand that I should not store the trees outside in the winter because of the chance that the roots might freeze, but what about the garage?

I guess my question is, if the trees are kept relatively warm enough, does it matter if they aren't getting much sun over the winter?

I'm in Ontario, Canada where it gets quite cold, but my garage should be warm enough. I'm just concerned about the trees not getting enough sunlight.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
