The first photo is a cluster of jelly-like mushrooms in our front yard. There were several clusters around a maple tree that has wood bark mulch. They have the consistancy of the pinna of the human ear.

The second photo was taken in the woods around Mount St. Helens in Washington state.

Can either of these be ID'd?

#2 could be a few of things, a spore print would significantly narrow things down, but in the absence of additional information I would guess Xeromphalina. #1 looks like it could be one of the larger Clitocbye species - definitely a gilled mushroom like C. Wick pointed out.

You're right (re #1). It starts out with a cap but apparently they're so close together they end up looking lkike this. However, they are rubbery.

#2 is not the same mushroom. #1 was taken here in Michigan, #2 was on a tree in the PNW-Washington state.
