Our development's garden committee planted a purple plum. Shortly thereafter, we had multiple dry, hot, hot days. The tree now appears to be dead. Most leaves have fallen off.......we still have a few live branches, which we know of as we have scraped them and they are green. The tree is an eyesore, but we are daily watering hoping to save it. Our plan is now....water...hopefully we'll see a sign of life in the Spring. Any suggestions? We're in New Hampshire if that helps. Thanks Leekal
