Sick Juniper

    I have what looks like an orange jelly like fungus on my mature Junipers. Some of the branches appear to be dying or dead. Are these plants beyond help? Do I destroy them or just cut off the diseased branches?

    A Gymnosporangium rust disease. If you can prune them out, do so.
