Do Daylillies change color?

    This year my daylillies seem to be a darker shade of the same color that they were last year. Anyone ever experience this and know why this happens?

    The flowers of many plants vary in shade depending on conditions, such as temperature or amount of water received. Conditions have been considerably cooler around here this year as compared to last year.
