Identification: What is this?

    Could someone please identify this houseplant for me? I got it from a neighbour about 6 years ago.The nearest I can get is senecio scaposus but even that is not exact.On the right is a cutting that is at least 18 months old.Cheers!

    I believe you have Crassula 'Gollum' (with the suction cup-looking ends). See this link for a description explaining the differences between 'Gollum' & 'Hobbit'.

    C. 'Gollum' was derived from C. 'Hobbit'. Occasionally, you'll find a plant exhibiting both 'Gollum' & 'Hobbit' characteristics. A poorly grown 'Gollum' does not form the complete suction-cup disk-like leaf apex.

    Hmm..going by the description on that link,I have more of a gollum than a hobbit. Still I like it!
