Can someone help me identify this orchid? I just received it as a gift, but there was no label other than orchid. It is so beautiful and fragrant, I hope I am able to care for it, but need to know what kind it is first. thank you

I have a similar issue, but no picture. My orchid that I inherited has small petal purple flowers growing on a single stalk which is bursting out of two larger, green leaves that sort of droop to each side. There are other leaves in the pot, but only one flowering stalk. I have no idea what kind of orchid it is and have had no luck identifying so far. When I first got it, it appeared to be dead. However, I repotted, fertilized, changed location to full, morning sun, water weekly and mist 3x weekly. I live in St Petersburg, FL. Any help would be most appreciated.
