I bought a small Phalenopsis some time last year and it flowered for some months. At the end of blooming I cut the spike off. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have left in on the plant because there are no signs of new growth. What are the general watering guidelines for these and can I possibly encourage new growth?

hi there i am located in the phil. i have phaelonopsis. Whenever the flowers died dont cut the spikes. there will be new blooms again. Water your plants daily and put it in a shady and cool area. also give them blooming fertilizer every two weeks... ruby
