    Hey

I have a bunch of orchids which I need to identify. Does anybody know of any good books that work through the shape of their leaves and other stuff?

    thanks-Steph

A reliable result from this approach is probably more or less hopeless. There are thousands of wild orchid species, as well as myriad hybrids - some of these quite complex. Try looking at orchid plants in nearby shops and collections to see if you can spot some similarities. This will get you started, anyway. If you have mostly common types you will find similar ones.
