    Hi,

I have recently brought my Bougainvillea indoors for the winter. How should I care for it indoors as it did thrive outdoors. The vines are about 5ft long and I would rather not prune it right down. Should I prune it. How about frequency of water and fertilizer as well as access to sunlight.

    Thank you for your time,

    Chris

You should be giving it the most amount of light you can spare, they love the sun and will drop there leaves indors in lower light conditions, they like to become slightly dry between waterings and fertilize about one a month. There is no need to prune it now, you can wait untill the spring before it goes back outside for the summer and cut it back by however much you would like they grow pretty fast. Hope this helps you out.
