I need some help identifying my house plant so I can find out whether or not it is supposed to droop the way it does, and so I can look after it better. When I got it it was only about 15cm tall and had several leaves all pointing upright, I had no idea it would keel over the way it has.

You can just see the nice purply colour on the underside of the leaves in the photo. It seems to be quite healthy as there is a lot of new growth at the nodes(? not good on my terminology sorry). The leaves are about 15cm long, and the total length of the stem around 50cm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Thanks so much! I think you're definitely correct. It has been living in a much sunnier spot for awhile now, so though it will never quite be the same hopefully I can keep it healthy!
