Plant ID??

    Hi everyone :) I have some kind of groundcover I think. It is growing in a sandy area on the side of my house.

    Here is a pic of me peeling it back. It seems to spread from a single stem in the center.

    Also Fire Ants seem to love this stuff. They are always climbing all over it.

    update: Looks like it is either Richardia scabra, or maybe Richardia brasiliensis.

    I dont know what it is but I know that horses and goats love it.

    i have that where my veggie garden used to be,same as yours in a sandy area.it will spread rapidly.

    Yes it spreads like crazy. I have been pulling them all up by the roots. I have them all over one side of my yard and some in the front. It came out of knowhere. It has killed grass in a few areas by growing up over it and smothering it. but mostly it grows in sandy soil here.
