too tall tree

    My norfolk pine is tall and skinny. It has lost bottom branches. Now the top of the soil has something like a white mould growing on top of it. The tree doesn't look healthy. What should I do?

    Repot in fresh potting mix.

    Also get some air circulation to the area if possible and let the top of the soil dry out between waterings.
