Monkey Puzzle Tree,

Discussion in 'Araucariaceae' started by Adam Broomhall, Jan 7, 2004.

  1. I have recently purchased a house with a Monkey Puzzle Tree in the garden, apox 20ft from the house, will the roots ever be a problem, it is currently 40ft tall?

    Many Thanks,

    Adam

It is doubtful that the roots will pose much of a problem. The roots of monkey puzzles do not seek moisture in the same way that water-hungry deciduous trees, such as willow or poplar do.
