Red seeds on tall stalk

    Tall stalks in groupings attached near the ground only grow about 4-6 feet tall have these red seed heads.

    Anyone know what they are called?

    Looks like Rhus glabra.

    Thanks Lila! I will definitely check this out. In order to get this piece, I sent my grandson up a short steep hill to grab just the seed head and didn't get a look at the leaves. But from where I was, at least at this time of year, there were no leaves up the entire stalk.

    Edit as a post note: I did go check out all of the details and you are absolutely right! It is the Rhus Glabra.
