Why won't my Peonies bloom??

    I need to look at my post again. I never mean to upset anyone really I don't and my post should not have done that.

    You and I are at the moment in the same boat with flowerless Peonies, I have tried now for five years and still try so no, don't you ever give up.

    I have kept the one back and given the others. The plant you see is in the very back of the boarder newly planted hopefully not too deep not too near the surface. Its in brand new compost so I expect great things next year...some hopes..haahahah

    Soon it will die off. The image you see it was on the front of the wall in full sun from say 2.pm till sunset. I am in the UK and we get not a lot of sun but this year its been very hot.

    My sister who can grow such big booms covers her roots in the Autumn with sacking, I think she feeds them Baby Bio in the spring. She also keeps them well waterd.l
