    Hello,

My husband and I just moved into our first house in July and I'm slowly gaining control of our garden (0.37 acre is a big jump from apartment living). I have about a million questions, but one of the biggest problems I am facing is that the Rose of Sharon seem to be getting devoured by something! They were apparently healthy when we moved in and have produced lovely flowers and still have many buds popping up. However, the leaves have been nearly diminished to the veins and stems! We must have about 20 ROS bushes throughout the yard (with many babies popping up that I keep pulling) and all of them seem to be affected by the same pest.

I haven't seen any aphids actively on the plant. I've seen a few caterpillars in our yard, but not specifically on the plant. These shrubs are literally being devoured by whatever it is! I can try to post photos if it would help.
