Holly Tree prblem

Discussion in 'Woody Plants' started by Unregistered, Apr 1, 2004.

  1. I have two Holly's that were planted this summer during a landscape renovation. They are on the North side of the house. The leaves are turning brown and falling off both trees. The leaves turn brown at the tips and evenually turn entirely brown. Does this sound like a soil problem or some other problem. Thanks.

Seems I'm having a similar problem. Trees were planted 4 years ago and have grown to nearly 9'. This winter many, if not all leaves have turned brown with many of the tips totally brown and dry. Region is just north of NY City. Any thoughts on survival or treatment?
