This topic is just for fun. I missed this flower - just three weeks passed after the snow cleared the mountain top but the flowers have already gone. I was ready to ask your help, but after soaking the dried flowers in water and figuring out their structure I managed to resolve the key and identified this species. It grows above 3000 m in cracks between granite slabs. Our area is the south boundary of its distribution. The north boundary slightly touches the south edge of BC. The key picture will come later. So, make you best guess.
Perfect, Daniel! Here is the flower view which clearly shows two stamens and the pistil. I hope to catch this flower next spring...
As a sequel of this topic, I show two pictures of this gem when it is still in bloom. It flowers right after the mountain slope clears of the snow and in a couple of weeks it will be gone.
