White/Light tan spots on leave

Discussion in 'Maples' started by Carl, Apr 7, 2004.

  1. I am in California and just bought a fireglow. The tree is still in the
20 gallon pot and I've noticed some white/light tan spots on the leaves.
I didn't noticed the spots when I bought the tree, so I think it starts
after it get to my place. The spot appears above and below the leave,
and it will "burn" through the leave after a while. Since I just start getting
japanese maple, I have no idea what these spots are. I have also a
waterfall 6 feet away from the fireglow, but there is no problem on the
waterfall. Can someone tell me what those are and how can I get ride of
    it?

    Thanks.
