Datura inoxia -- White bell flower with spiny seed pod IDENTIFIED -- warnings for use

    Hello fellow flower lovers!

Here are some photos of a fabulous scrambling plant that decided to propogate itself -- it grew this big just this summer from seed that fell from a pot on the deck last fall and overwintered in the soil. I took these pics today.

I am going to collect the seed when the pods have matured, but would love to know what it is.

Caution: very poisonous. Don't keep it if you have young children or pets who enjoy chewing things.

Thanks so much -- here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datura_inoxia
I have no children or pets, but people do visit, so I will warn them. Funny, it says the plant gives off a noxious smell when the leaves are crushed -- the scent is actually a nutty one and I have tons of allergies and have had no adverse affects from handling it.

It's a beautiful plant, and still gorgeous despite some cold nights -- but I will warn anyone of the risks if I share seeds.

    Kar El :)
