Help With Willow Tree Bark

    My Wife And I Planted A Weeping Willow About A Week After We Purchased Our New Home, Well One Of Our Friends Heavenly Children Took A Stick To It And It Is Missing A Strip Of Bark About 4" Wide And Two Feet Long, What Can I Use To Cpver The Wound And Prevent Disease. The Tree Is 2 Years Old.

    Keep it mulched, watered and fertilized as needed. Such a wound on a fast-growing tree like this is likely to soon disappear.
