Garden Plant ID

    I have this plant in my front planter box but I don't know what it is. It looks like a small rhubarb plant with a stalk that grows lots of pink flowers on the end.

    Bergenia cordifolia.

    In coastal regions of northern California it naturalizes and gradually forms a nice patch.

    More than one species of Bergenia, multiple different hybrids are on the general market. I'm not convinced this one is B. cordifolia, specifically.
