Trying to identify this fruit tree that looks like a peach tree

    Hello, my father has that tree growing in his yard in Montreal, but it's alone and doesn't give any fruit. It looks like a peach tree, but we're not sure about it. Il has some pink flower with five petals.(see pictures attached)

    Wishing we'll be able to find what it is and plant another one to have fruits :)

    Flowering crabapple (Malus). Hundreds of kinds.

    Thanks for the info, we have two other crabapple trees in the same yard that looks differents (not the same color and the trunk'husk looks different too). Is it because this one is a different kind that it doesn't give fruits?
