Wildflowers: Sarawak flower identification

    Can someone please help me identify the pink/red flower here. The photo is from Padawan, Sarawak on Borneo. It was taken at the end of May, 2014.

    If it helps, the butterfly on this flower is a Lime butterfly (Papilio demoleus malayanus)

    Zinnia violacea (probably better known as Z. elegans)

    Thank you. I didn't think that this was a domestic flower but I couldn't be sure.

    In other words, this is the same as the standard garden zinnia? So someone was just growing this near the side of the road as a show flower then?

    Thanks again. Funny how easy it is for me to overlook the obvious simply because I am in a different setting than where I would expect it.
