I planted a few years ago male and female 'Hayward' Kiwis.
Last year my male died and as I was unable to get another 'Hayward' male, one nursery suggested the 'Kolomitka' male plant, which I bought.

My two female 'Hayward' plants show flower buds for the first time (3 years old). My new 'Kolomitka' male plant is blooming already.

Will these to species be able to cross pollinate or should I try to get another male 'Hayward' plant.

    Please help,

    Helmut

No I don't believe it will. You need either a fuzzy male or an arguta male. The kolomitka will only pollinate a female kolomitka from what I've read.
