    Could someone please help ? what variety of Dwarf Apple Trees would you recommend for Northern Areas ( Scotland)

    It is probably not too cold for most apples, but the short season limits selection somewhat. Here are some to look out for:

    Duchess
    Garden Royal
    James Grieve
    St. Edmund's Russet
    Jefferis
    Regent
    Mollie's Delicious
    Sandow
    Sunrise
    Novamac

    I think EMLA 26 would be a good dwarfing rootstock to use; it needs staking only on exposed sites.
    Bud 9 would be more dwarfing and more resistant to collar rot; it needs permanent staking.

    Just wondering if Davie Duck Fly found any dwarf apple trees. I located this nursery in Scotland, which is also certified organic: http://www.butterworthsorganicnursery.co.uk/mainframe.htm
    There are over 60 apple varieties listed, and most are available on M26 or MM106 rootstock. I am getting hungry reading descriptions.
