    Can anyone answer this question.
I have a fig tree that is approximately 5 years old. Last year was the first time I got an abundance of figs. There were at least 100 good sized figs on it but they never got ripe. The tree was about 6 feet tall. In thye fall I trimmed it , Coered it, and stuffed the covering with oak leaves to keep it warm for the winter. When I uncovered it there were a few figs already growing. These figs eventually fell off and the tree grew beautifully all summer. It was much larger than last year but it hade a few less figs than a year ago. These figs also didn't ripen. Do I wait till next year or do I cut it down?
