I planted basil and mint in one really big pot. I noticed that the mint looked like the vines of the plant were turning black and dying. I also noticed holes in the basil. One night I looked at the leaves in the pot and it looked like june bugs were the culprits of the holes. How do I keep them off so my basil looks edible again?

the basil will continue to grow - so, any damaged leaves will be replaced with new ones and the june bugs will be gone by then so the new ones should be okay.

can you post a pic? mint is pretty hardy, so it shouldn't be having a problem...could need more water or maybe there's a conflict between growing basil and mint together? don't know.
