    Hello,
My balcony faces due south and is a heat trap. It's very protected and has it's own terrific little micro-climate. Over the years I've grown a lot of plants but never a daphne. I haven't found anything about growing daphnes long-term in containers, but a gardener friend tells me that generally they don't do well at all in that kind of situation.
Has anyone had any success with this, or growing a daphne in full sun? If so I'd love to know which variety worked. (My containers are all large size - minimum 30" diameter at the top.)

    many thanks
