I found this vine in a park in Chanhassen, Minnesota. It has these strange, prickly-looking orbs growing out of it; but they're not hard spines. The fruit (?) is easy to touch, and the biggest one I saw was about the size of a quarter.

If it's not some crazy, invasive weed I'd like to try and slip it and plant it in my back yard.

    Thanks!

It's wild cucumber, Echinocystis lobata, a widespread native species. I rather like them, both due to childhood memories of goofing around with the seed pods, and for the fragrant flowers!

I'd never seen one before! I hope it slips well.

    Thanks for the info!
