I have a bunch of large Pothos' in my house. Today I noticed a bright yellow foreign object in the soil of one of them...as I peered closer I detected that faint fungus smell...but there are no caps on this thing. It is about the diameter of a silver dollar coin with several tube-shaped 'fingers' near the base of the plant.

I have looked online and canot find a picture of anything like it.

    Bright Yellow
    tube-shaped, no cap
    faint fungus smell

I have not touched it yet...but it looks like it would feel like a mushroom.

    Hi,

See the sticky notes at the top of the Fungus and Lichen ID forum - I think your answer is there!
