Wildflowers: small white flower clusters, Bryce Canyon, June

    What is this flower? The serrated leaves seem distinctive.

    While the range of this plant is scattered, is it unusual to find it in Bryce Canyon? It was observed along the Tower bridge trail so it was a little lower elevation and possibly wetter (but it was very dry in June).

    BONAP maps show that it covers practically entire Utah.

    Shape of flower head and depth of leaf color might indicate this is a blue elder, which BONAP mapping is apparently including within Sambucus nigra.
