Please help me identify this shrub

    I am unsure of what this shrub is. It was pruned back hard a couple of years ago, but now is back in full swing. I can't figure it out. Pea Family?

    PNW, Vancouver Island. Summer.

    Robinia hispida or one of its hybrids with other Robinia species.
