    Hi,

I was given this plant in the spring. The person who gave it to me didn't remember exactly the scientific name of the plant, he scribbled something on a piece of paper, and on top of that his handwriting is almost impossible to decypher ;-)

Can anyone help me identify the plant : it's about 30-40 cm high (so far?), has alternate leaves and I'm pretty sure it likes moisture and shade.

    Thanks a lot, Silver Surfer.

Someone suggested Tricyrtis formosana on a bonsai forum, and I think that's the one.

    Tx again.

Might be T. formosana, but there are many hybrids with mixed parentage.
