We bought a house in the summer last year and are pleasantly by the plants popping up all over welcoming spring. The problem is my husband and I always fight over which one is a weed and which one is a flower so I never know which one to pull and which one to nurture. Can anyone help me identify the following:

    Thanks in advance!

Oh goody. You left me one I know! #4 is Lamium aka Dead Nettle, and yes, it's a generally considered a weed. Does not spread too bad and is easy to pull out. So if you have an area you don't need to pay much attention to - plant it there. ;))) Barb

Hi, #4 is eithe Lamium or Plectranthus. The former is more likely having just looked at your location.
