Can anyone help ID the specific name of this tree? I'm told it is probably a weeping beech but the specific type of weeping beech is unknown. I'd like to know the full scientific name if possible. My wife calls it the Dr. Seuss tree. The neck of the tree where it splits into branches is quite distinct as it appears to grow in an almost horizontal, spiral fashion. The overall shape is like fagus sylvatica "pendula" but the leaves appear to be much larger. Please help. Thanks.
