Three-lobed tree nut, leaves like Ash.

    Need help identifying this tree.

    I found it high on the banks of the Guadalupe River in Gruene, Texas (was actually between the Gristmill Restaurant and the river).

    Soil was steep, sandy/dry under filtered shade from oaks. Tree appeared to be about 20' tall. Both previous season's fruit/nut and this season were still attached. Predominately, the leaf sets contained 5-7 leaves, opposite (looks very much like Ash). Fruit/nut appears to be three-lobed, opening from the bottom when ripe.
